It's HOT DOWN HERE!

Hi! and WELCOME to the GLOBAL COMMUNITY PARK! So much has happened in the 4 months I've been here. To start with, today is the HOTTEST day of the summer. I can't imagine what it's like not living at the shore and without an air conditioner. Just took a cold shower and put some shorts on.

I've been steadily building my businesses down here and trying to help my singer as well.  Right now it's hard for EVERYONE with the heat. I took pictures at the beach the other day. Some were for a video I'll be doing real soon and some were to share on my blogs.

Crystal's next song and video is called The Siren's Ballad.
Here is the picture I took for the download thumbnail.

I'm surprised I got no takers for the real estate for sale down here. Real cheap and lots available. Strange that so much opportunity is here now that no one has money to take advantage of it. Lot of empty homes and vacant commercial real estate.

I haven't been able to do the tourist thing since I've been here. A little here and there. I'm preparing to decorate my patio and I have to go on a business trip in October. So lots of money I have to put away for the upcoming months.

I've also arranged to keep renting this place until May 2016. That's give me more time to develop these businesses and help Crystal build her career.

I hope everyone is staying cool today.  And enjoying your summer!

EARTHQUAKES IN PARADISE!

HI! And WELCOME BACK to Global Community Park!

Did anyone else feel those earthquakes. I tried looking them up in the recent earthquake tracking grid and they weren't there.

They shook my whole house and I thought someone was on the roof.  I even prepared a quick escape bag for my housemates and me.  Earthquakes are not my favorites, I'd prefer storms like the storms I lived through back on the east coast when I lived in New England. I was there during hurricane Sandy.

Earthquake have me feeling not in control, Like the ground ca n open up at any moment  and swallow you. It's not supportive and downright scary.

I'd like to know if anyone else felt the earthquake. Let me know my leaving a message at the space below.

Here is a picture I hope you'll enjoy.

GOD SAVE US FROM THE HEAT!

.

Hi! And welcome back to Global Community Park! The word for today is YIPE!  It's very HOT today! It's 90 degrees in PARADISE!?

Albeit still beautiful but, I'm roasting here!  When I step out of the house, the cool breeze is invigorating and the view is still amazing, but right now I'm admiring the areas of the USA that have rain and hail.

The other day when I went to the shopping mall, the Walmart ATM wasn't working. I needed money to buy groceries.  You see,  in a cashless society like the USA there are ATMs everywhere but in a country like Mexico where they still respect the almighty dollar (or peso MXN) there are only ATMs at the American stores like Walmart.  I had to walk to a Home Depot (a national home decorating and supply chain in the USA) that they have here in MX and use their ATM. Glad I knew where it was. I walked up and down the mall because I was sure there HAD to be a machine somewhere in the mall area but there wasn't.

Well, I got the money and went shopping. I bought 11 bags of groceries for $60. USD or $963. pesos MXN. The cost of living is so low here. Oh, and since I don't have a car yet it cost me $5. USD to get there and $5. to get back home. I gave $32 pesos for a tip which is $2. USD. All and all, a good day!

I don't have much to add except to please help me, help CRYSTAL. Follow this link to the campaign site and donate at an affordable level. Thank you in advance for your donation!
